Description (if an NPC) or name of your creator/gifter(if a PC) ( Please be as specific as possible, who your creator/gifter was, why he chose to change you, where is he/she now?):

Viv was gifted in November 1954 at the age of 10. Her family were true to the Outcast pack and were nomadic, moving along northern Africa during the start of the French-Algerian War. Viv’s father, Lorenzo Sena, gifted her during the first battles of the war. While recovering on the same night, her entire pack was wiped out by Vigo Hammerthynn’s Pipers.

Personal Questions

  1. Describe your character’s personality.

Viv is driven, extremely friendly, and ambitious. She easily blends in with strangers, a true chameleon. One of the boys or a giggly girl – whichever proves more beneficial to the task at hand. None of the pack in Nachton know of her existence, save for Iov Hammerthynn, and she plans on using that to her advantage.

  1. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.)

Prefers dark colors, soft, worn leathers. Her apparel is functional with modern style. Clean, crisp lines on perfectly tailored suits with tight, calve length skirts. One day it’ll be buckled black boots with a matching short waisted jacket, worn blue jeans, and a crisp, starched button up to soft, black leather pants with a three panel skirt, fitted, button up bodice with cut out sleeves.

3.What does your character like?

Relaxing with a little pot, her iphone4, surfing the internet, and writing science fiction. She is open to any new activities and enjoys the company of men over women. Viv is carefree and fun when in company of others, but alone she relishes the silence and enjoys reading military science fiction.

  1. Dislike?

Indian food, the winner of Top Chef season 4, women who duckface in photographs, slow dancing (why bother, just get to the sex), back handed compliments, romance novels, poorly written romance novels (ugh), and being ignored.

  1. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned.
  2. What are your fears? (please choose and explain 3 minimum)

The smell of smoke – stirs up painful emotions of the night her pack was murdered. Normal fireplaces and bonfires, cigarette smoke – normal day to day smoke smells she can handle, but burning homes or fields she cannot.

Her Outcast family. Nomads by nature, she is afraid of meeting her other Outcast relatives and having to explain why she never found them. Why she cut herself off from that world and embraced the man that led the raid that killed her family.

Falling in love – every time is different, but she fears the moment she becomes so obsessed with another individual that she forgets herself and what matters to her. Her two marriages with humans were fun but temporary. She has no desire to marry another wolf, especially another Greater Pack member, or to fall in love with someone like her.

  1. What is your character’s strengths and weaknesses? (please pick 3 minimum of each and explain in detail how and why this affects your character)

Strengths:

  1. Psychological profiling and manipulation

Viv has spent the last 56 years of her life being used as a personal negotiation tool for Vigo Hammerthynn. Fully capable of using aggressive means with a sufficient level of ruthlessness to have no qualms about causing harm to the target. Vigo saw her potential early in life and capitalized on it, using her for covert missions instead of using the physical prowess of the Pipers.

  1. Sense of humor

Viv is outwardly a happy and funny woman comfortable in social situations. Charming to the point of flirty, her sense of humor has gotten her reasonable success at her jobs given to her by Vigo. Everyone loves a funny person and can easily diffuse tense situations with her friendly and funny demeanor.

  1. Observational Learning

“A type of learning that occurs as a function of observing, retaining and replicating behavior and abilities executed by others.”

Viv’s ability to adapt and learn by observation has served her well over her years. She has an uncanny knack for being shown something once and being able to learn the ability and learn from the situation.

Weaknesses:

  1. Smokes Pot

Habitual pot smoker, using it to relax her from her occupational hazards. Uses strenuous runs to burn it out of her system, but it is a daily habit. The only time she does not smoke it is when she wants to feel the agony of her existence.

  1. Has difficulty assimilating into the Greater pack, not just because she was born Outcast, but experiences as a child – being looked upon as a traitor in plain sight – she has welcomed her isolation from the pack she had been with for over fifty years. The Hammerthynns know ‘of’ her but they know nothing ‘about’ her. Because of this she has formed an intense father/daughter bond with Vigo Hammerthynn, Elder of the Hammerthynns. She’s become his one failed attempt at humanity.
  2. Older men

Probably stemming from her relationship with her adoptive father, Vigo Hammerthynn. He has never been anything but her father, but Viv has exhibited a bit of an Electra complex and prefers older men fashioned after him.

Cosmetic Traits(Distinct, character defining physical attributes. These should be minor and offer no real power other than to make your character appear more interesting.)

Spine tattoo, partially scarred from silver injury given by Vigo Hammerthynn.

Vigo kept her hidden from the pack, teaching her with outside resources until she was (real age) twenty. Her combat training started after she had finished college and during her first sparring with her adoptive father, he showed her the true power of silver.

He severed her spine with a silver tipped blade. A human would have been paralyzed from that kind of injury, but as a werewolf, she was in physical therapy for a year before regaining her full mobility again. No one had ever gotten close enough to handicap her in battle ever again.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention –

Bites her bottom lip
Pulls, one strand at a time, at her hair to feel the texture of it, but does not pull it out
Must wear her watch at all times

Personal History 3rd person (1st is acceptable) but please be as detailed as possible, this can/will affect your rp with other players.

Vivienne Sena was born Outcast, but will not die as one.

‘Wake up, Nina!’

Viv jerked awake, still groggy and dazed from her gifting. Immediately she scooted back, away from the voice and hands.

‘Nina, we must go, move.’

It was her mama, her dark hair was tangled and the room was dark around them, smelling like…

‘Fire? Mama…’

Her mother dragged her to her feet and pushed her down the hallway of the abandoned farm they had sought refuge in, marking the seventh day of their swift journey across Algeria. They had picked up camp one week earlier and moved. No, not moved – ran. She knew what their family was, what her parents became at the swell of the full moon. Something had happened and they fled with the rest of their pack. Sixteen in all – three families, hers and her two uncles. All but Viv and her two smaller siblings were Outcast, but that changed for her, this night, so many nights ago.

Viv tripped, the pain in her shoulder from her father’s bite, gifting her with the change, shot up into her head and she threw up from the running and manhandling from her mama.

‘Nina, we don’t have time. We need to leave!’ Suddenly unfamiliar howling pierced the night. Long, hard, and vengeful – Viv could tell, already at 10, what howling like that meant. Her mama looked at her with sad eyes.

‘They’re here,’ her mother said.

The rest was a blur to Viv, the rushing, pushing, pulling…her mother hid her high up in the rafters of the barn on a small ledge. Her mother warned her – be quiet, stay, and above all, to survive. 10 years old, alone, and weak from reopening the wound on her shoulder, Viv put her back to the wall and curled up into a ball, hiding her face behind her knobby knees. The howling came closer till it mingled with the calls of her father and uncles. Suddenly she heard the howls of her mother and female wolves – everyone had changed to defend their pack. The fighting lasted only minutes and that was the last time she heard the sweet howl of her family.

The pain ebbed, flowing through her body, making remaining silent that more difficult, but Viv did not disobey her mother. Silently, she laid there, hoping the stink of the fire that her family must have started would hide her scent. The attacking wolves exited the barn, the smell of thick blood in the air, when there was a creak at the ladder leading up to her hiding spot. Viv willed her body to stop shaking and she held her breath.

A man’s hand shot up from below, pulling himself higher on the ladder until the huge man towered over her, still on the ladder. The area was too small for his gigantic form, but in the darkness, she could see his face.

And his missing eye.

Viv did not disobey her mother. She did not cry out when the man reached for her. If this meant survival, then so be it. Pushing her shoulders back, she glared at the one eyed man who hesitated a moment, looking at her with a steel gray eye.

‘Who are you?’ The large man asked, his voice rumbled like thunder and he pulled back his hand.

Gulping, Viv continued her defiant glare and remained silent. She watched the man – bloodied from her family’s carnage.

‘You are part of this pack.’ It wasn’t a question. The freshness of her blood must have been apparent. They both knew if one of them had drawn her blood, they would not have let her live.

The man sighed and looked over his shoulder, pausing to think of a moment. Then, with a flick of his good eye, he reached out to her again, this time his palm upturned.

‘Please come with me.’

Viv looked at the man, the man who had killed her family, destroyed her life, and could very well kill her where she sat. His hand was held out to her and his face almost pleading.

‘Do you know what your pack did to ours?’

Viv balked at him, confused and angry. ‘We did nothing.’

‘Your men killed two of our women after savagely raping them. What we did was owed to us.’

She looked at him, his face was clear of hate and smooth with compassion, yet he accused her family of butchering another pack. Viv slowly put her hands over her ears and shook her head.

‘We are Greater Pack. I am the Beta of my pack. Come with me now and we won’t include you in our rightful retribution.’ He held his out to her again, pleading. ‘I don’t want to kill you, but I will.’

Viv cried silent, fat tears. She knew it was true, she saw the blood on the twin boys, teenagers now, and the laughing. Her oldest uncles sons brought the shame on the family and they were all killed for it. But this man, he was Greater Pack, our brother and enemy, how could she betray her family? She glared at him through her angry tears and finally reached out, bypassing his hand and hugging him tightly as he stood on the ladder.

Viv took a deep breath and said, ‘My name is Vivienne Sena. You killed my family.’

‘My name is Vigo Hammerthynn and yes, Vivienne, I did.’

Fifty six years later, Vivienne Sena stood in a dark, cold room with steel furniture and one brightly burning fireplace. The warmth barely seemed to radiate out passed the stone pit, but it was there, crackling silently in the cold.

‘I’ve always thought of you this way,’ she said aloud. ‘Huge, empty soul, outwardly cruel and cold, but inside,’ she pointed to her heart, ‘inside you burned brighter than the brightest.’

Two hands touched her shoulders, large callused fingers squeezed gently, giving her quiet warmth.

‘You found it, that day.’ Vigo Hammerthynn turned her around and looked down at her with not his usual cold, soul scathing stare, but with a warm, gray eye. ‘Do you forgive me?’

‘You ask me that every day.’

‘It means that much to me.’

Reaching up, Viv touched Vigo’s cheek and he pressed his wrinkled but clean shaven face into it. It was answer enough for the old man.

Hugging him tightly, Viv whispered against his chest, ‘Like father…’

And Vigo replied softly, ‘Like daughter.’

Within thirty two hours, Vivienne Sena would be touching down on Nachton’s tarmac on a private Greater Pack plane from Australia. She would be there to weather the coming storm between her adoptive father’s only son and the family’s partners, the Commander of the Pipers, Brian ‘Brig’ Jameson. The only thing that could tear those two men apart would be a grave injustice, indeed, and Vivienne was there to diagnose the cancer that ate at them both and find answers for Vigo. She went with the full authority of the Hammerthynn and Jameson Elders.

This was family business, not Greater Pack.

Vivienne Sena was born Outcast, but will not die as one.
